Metropcs charges money for switching phone $15-$20

Well I got charged for $17 earlier today for switching phone at Metropcs store. I didn’t argue back, the staff at the Metropcs said that they can switch it for me but they do not guaranteed that it will work because it’s not a metropcs phone. It was an unlocked phone though.

The existing phone was Samsung J7 Prime. The new phone is TCL 10L unlocked according to Amazon. This line is not mine though by the way, it’s for one of the family member. There is no guaranteed that it will work 100%, but they still charge $17 non refundable anyways. read more

How to keep your facebook as private as possible without deleting or changing your posts one by one?

Well after many research I have come up with a method that I do not have to change each posts or pictures and videos privacy one by one. It’s pretty simple.

Go to your Facebook settings, Privacy, and change everything to “Me Only” if not then just Friends (not Friend of Friend). However this will still allow your friends to see your posts pictures videos … unless you change privacy of each posts videos pictures … one by one.

So what’s the trick? simple – go to the “Blocking” “When you add a friend to your Restricted list, they won’t see posts on Facebook that you share only to Friends. They may still see things you share to Public or on a mutual friend’s timeline, and posts they’re tagged in. Facebook doesn’t notify your friends when you add them to your Restricted list.” Then Edit the list to block everyone, if you have a large list of friends, I’m not sure if there’s a select all or still have to select one by one, I think you could select all using Control + A or something like that. That’s it. read more

WP Faster Cache wordpress plugin not creating cache folders files?

For me, the quick fix was to make sure I have the correct “Settings” WordPress Address URL and Site Address URL, make sure it’s correct, especially http vs https …

So what happened was I tried to use WP Faster Cache plugin, I followed the direction and activated the Cache (enabled) but after a few days I noticed there isn’t any cache files folders created in the “cache” directly. I checked my other blog (wordpress) and those are working fine.

I compare the Settings configuration in term of path directories then noticed the differences, http vs https. I am using Cloudflare at the moment for the https. However my blog Settings Address URL wasn’t https, so I updated it and now it is working correctly. read more
